I'm canning this Tuesday segment!
Let's get serious... I'm not interested in news! I was making this weekly post so I could try and keep up...but I just have no interest whatsoever.
So Tuesdays are now my FREE DAY.
I will write on this day about whatever I want!
So there! :)
In the meantime, enjoy this cute picture of me and my duck boyfriend:

Monday Sleeze: A Very Naked Week
Wow is all I can say about this week.
I would normally start by doing different stories but this past week I noticed a bit of a trend: Celebrity Nekkedness. Ew.
Vanessa Hudgens, Chris Brown and Sammi "Sweetheart".
That is all for this apparently "Theme Week" sleeze!
Have a great Monday!

Someone is definitely out to get Vanessa. This is her THIRD naked pic leak since a few years back! Luckily (if you can even say that) they are all taken at the same time and just getting released seperately. So at least she's not continuously taking these pictures. Phew!
Had a sex tape! Geez!
Nekkid Pics. What will Ronnie think now that their relationship is doomed?
That is all for this apparently "Theme Week" sleeze!
Have a great Monday!

Weekly Gratitude March 18th.
Happy Friday, everyone!!!
What a great week this has been! However, I only went to the gym once and have realized that I almost need to go now in order to feel good. I guess it's a psychological thing because my body can't fluctuate that much by not going for only a few days. Weird. Anyway... you ready for it? Get ready...
things that I'm grateful for *claps*:
- I'm soooo thankful that the snow is melting (finally). I got to buy a spring jacket and well, nothing beats the fact that I don't have to wear my bulk winter coat anymore! Yay!
- I'm thankful that I'm getting to do different things at work. I'm becoming much more versatile and it's definitely a nice feeling!!
- I'm thankful for Cadbury Chocolate Eggs! These are my absolute favorite Easter treat! Mmm so deeeeelish!
- I'm thankful for FINALLY finding a game that I'm really excited to play!! Let's just hope it actually is good and my type of game. The story looks really cool and you get to be a Sexy Elf chick (well, that's what I'm going to pick!) I'm just so excited. (Dragon Age 1)
- I'm thankful that where I sit now at work, I can socialize more. (Where I was sitting before, I was hardly noticeable :( )
- I'm thankful of the fact that I pay $65 a month to go to the stupid gym. The fact that I pay all that money actually motivates me to go (most of the time).
- I'm thankful for just so many things! The list could go on and on and on....
xoxoxoxoxo!!!! Have a wonderful weekend!

Sandra Bullock is a Saint
If you were a millionare would YOU donate 1 million dollars to these countries who have been affected by Natural Disasters?
Well Sandra Bullock would and if I was a millionare, so would I! It is seriously so amazing what this woman has done for Japan and Haiti and is definitely going to make a huge difference to their countries.

Inspirational Wednesdays
A couple things this week that have been inspiring to me:
Have you ever checked out my friend Tamara's Blog? Well, you should.
She's going to be a wedding planner, you know. And she's absolutely amazing at it.It's funny because one time, I helped her set up for a wedding and I was absolutely awful that she made me just lay out decorative cookies on the tables because I couldn't do any manual creative labour regarding the set up. Ugh!
Anyway, she's absolutely fantastic and she started a weekly post on weddings. I think what she does is amazing and if you're looking for good wedding tips go to her blog...now!
Personally, I think she needs to turn her blog into a wedding blog or at least make a second blog focused on this. I think it could really help her keep her ideas fresh and draw in a LOT of readers which could be beneficial to her future company.
She inspires me with her wedding planning because personally, I could never be that creative!
Also... I've been really inspired by fashion lately. Some of the websites I absolutely adore looking at are things like
The Etsy Shop and Go Jane
They have some of the neatest little fashion items on those sites. I love the little owl necklaces from Go Jane.
If I had more money, I would just love to throw out the majority of my clothes and get a whole new closet full of fun stuff!!
lastly, I need your help with something.. anybody? anybody at all?
I seriously need to not be so scared of everything! I'm always scared that the great things I have in my life are going to go away.. or that someone doesn't want to be my friend anymore or that something is wrong with those I love and feeling like it has to do with me when it clearly doesn't.
Please help me to get over this and help me be confident! I seriously don't have a bad thing to say about my life right now and I think that is what the issue is. I'm so afraid that all this good is going to go away and that would be terrible!!!! How can I just let go of my worry and not be so damn insecure all the time??!?! Help!

Shift in my Emotions
In the process of reconstructing my blog, I went through every single one of my posts and labelled them. In doing this, I read some of my past posts and I noticed something really upsetting: I was really sad. You could tell through my writing that I was almost sort of...lifeless and I wanted so desperately to feel emotion again...to feel happiness. From when I started my blog in April all the way up until maybe the beginning of October, I was trying so hard to remind myself of reasons to be happy and sometimes even saying that I was happy but I was lying to myself.
I remember saying to myself sometime near the end of September that I was going to focus mainly on myself and not all the other stuff that was happening in my life (which was a LOT... I was definitely losing control) and you know what? That is when I truly found myself again along with happiness and yep, you guessed it, love!
And it definitely shows in my blog posts.
If you look at this post (happy)
Compared to me pretending I'm happy in this post
and then look at this post and this one (sad)
Do you see how much happiness I have gained from one point where I was admitting I was so depressed and then saying I was happy because I was just trying to feel that way and then lastly to a point where I truly was/am happy?
It's really amazing.
Since the end of September when I tried to find balance in my life and focus purely on my own self contentment, that is when I found everything I ever wanted. And you know what else? I can honestly say that I have never been happier than where I am with my life right now.
I have an amazing boyfriend. I'm not lying when I say I didn't know that feelings like this could exist for another human being. It took me a long time to find my perfect guy, but I finally did and I couldn't be more grateful!
For the first time since early highschool, I feel amazing about my body. I feel so healthy because I'm eating decent (although I do eat junk food from time to time...hey, you gotta live your life, right?!) and I've been exercising regularly since January and I feel so great about my body and definitely heart happy! Do you know that I can actually run for an extended period of time now whereas before I couldn't even run for a minute without losing my stamina? I've definitely built that up and it feels great!
I'm close with my family and I think they are accepting of the fact that I am getting older and not home as often as I used to be. But when I am, we have a great time and we catch up. It's really nice.
I see my friends as often as I can and I can promise them that I'm not going anywhere. We all lead very busy lives but I miss them when I don't see them! I strive on girls nights and spending time with them in any way I can. I love them!
So in saying this, I guess it really does show you that you need to love yourself and be happy with yourself before you can love and be loved. And I'm so glad I found this happiness with myself because then I wouldn't have John... and John is just the best. :)
Amazing, isn't it?

Japan-Nuclear
I'm not even sure what I can say on this but it is so terrifying!!! I just hope Japan perseveres as smoothly as possible.
Does anybody here believe in the 2012 thing??
I used to and just got sooo scared everytime I would think about it! Then I did a lot of research and realized it is NOT going to happen.
However when instances like the Japan 9.0 magnitude earthquake happen along with a large tsunami and all the other disasters that have occured recently, I can't help but get nervous that this is building up to 2012 and I'm not going to lie...it absolutely terrifies me!!!!
Can I please get some reassurance out there that it's NOT going to happen?? I want to have a future!!! :(

Changes Happening to the Blog
Starting yesterday, I have no more clients and am just kind of an "assistant" I guess you could say, at work (until August).
So, therefore, I'm starting a new blogging project!
I want to add more structure to my little corner of the internet and I already do a weekly post on "Weekly Gratitude"... however I want to add more.
So here is what you should be expecting (for now):
Monday Sleeze: A post where I talk about recent celebrity gossip that I have found interesting. (I gotta admit.. I love my Hollywood! I find it fascinating and this is a good way to keep up with that life!) PLUS I will also talk about any movies I may have seen that week.
Tuesday-Around the Globe: News Stories that have caught my attention. I need to be more aware of what is going on in the world. It's something I've always struggled with and being more aware of current events could be beneficial to my life and career.
Inspirational Wednesdays: Things that have inspired me in one way or another. It could be something that someone said, a situation that occured, anything really!
Lifestyle Thursdays: This is a day where I will post about fashion, beauty, or food (and if I think of something else...that too!)
Weekly Gratitude (Fridays): Something I've already started via Love, Life, Lace - I post here about what I am grateful for that week.
Along with these posts...expect random banter also! Because, really, what would this blog be without that? :)
So how does that sound? Do you think this will be a productive thing to do on my blog? I think it will be. It will definitely be a great way to keep those positive feelings in check too!
I'm so excited!!! Stay tuned :D

Japan
"i just want to take this moment to send my prayers to japan and beyond. this natural disaster is another startling reminder of the earth's undeniable power and as one tweet said "that we're just guests on this planet." it then falls to us to treat the earth with respect and reverence--to preserve the tenuous balance that mother nature lords over--we can do this in what we choose to eat, how we harvest food and animals, consumption of all kinds and on and on. now is the time to say prayers, give thanks, and go about enacting change."
Posted by Meg on March 11th.
I'm quoting her because I'm not quite sure how to put my thoughts out to them myself and I just loved the way she worded it.
I'm worried because I have family on the West coast where a Tsunami is expected to hit. So I'm nervous for them.
I'm thinking of you, Family <3.

Has anybody seen this?
As much as Charlie Sheen is an absolute disaster, his little "winning" shows are probably the funniest things to happen to Hollywood since Britney shaved her head and beat a Pappo's car with an umbrella.
He's taken numerous drug tests so obviously he's clean but the question is...is he mentally unstable? Or is he doing this for pure attention and entertainment?
Thoughts?

ProActiv: The Not So Great Solution.
eautyI'll let you in on a little secret: I struggle with my skin.
Everyone around me tells me that I don't have that bad of skin but it's definitely not nice.
Sometimes my acne comes at me with a vengeance. Like most recently, my chin had probably 10 blemishes on it. I felt so self conscious. I mean, where you are by yourself at home, the last thing you want is to wear concealer but for my own self security, I would. Just because I didn't like looking at myself. So I broke down and ordered Pro Activ. I mean celebrities used it! What could go wrong?
The beautiful and edgy Katy Perry:
The voluptuous Jessica Simpson:
And even teenage heart throb J-Beebz:
I was just so sick of trying everything I could to clear up my skin (and try everything I did! I take great care of myself and nothing ever seems to work!)
About a week later, I received my package of pimple fighting solution in the mail and I couldn't be more ecstatic! When I used it, I noticed it stung a little bit but I thought, "Hey as long as it works! No big deal! I'll deal with the burning!"
I had been using it for about 3 days and then one morning I woke up to a heavy redness under my eyes along with aging "bags". I thought I was just tired so I carried on without any thought on it.
That same night, I did my time consuming 5 step face regimen and I noticed it was REALLY stinging. Maybe about an hour later, in the same spot under neath my eyes, I had even MORE wrinkles and a HUGE rash. I was having a stupid allergic reaction to this stuff! Not to mention my entire face was COMPLETELY dried out, not to be helped by moisturizer!
Although the acne DID clear up, so I guess people aren't lyen they say that. But minus the acne and add on dry skin and rashes....no thanks.
No wonder why ProActiv isn't sold in Canada. Our country doesn't want to let these harsh, dangerous chemicals ruin our bodies!
Oh my goodness. Never again. I am 100% getting my money back! It's just not worth it. I'll just stick with my Tersaseptic or get something gentle and face loving like Clinique! But I can say I tried it and the curiosity DEFINITELY killed the cat.
Disclaimer: If ProActiv works for you, that's great! Everybody has different skin types and I'is produc works wonders for some and not so great for others!

Weekly Gratitude: March 11th
I have a confession to make.
Every single week that I have done Weekly Gratitude, well, I've really needed it. Every single Friday I noticed I was having an awful week and it was so refreshing to think of all the little things that have made me happy.
Well, this week has been absolutely wonderful! I don't really have anything bad to say about it.
So let's see what my thanks become after a good week as opposed to previous not so good ones:

Well, this week has been absolutely wonderful! I don't really have anything bad to say about it.
So let's see what my thanks become after a good week as opposed to previous not so good ones:
- I have to thank John for being so patient with me when it comes to looking for cars. He's the only one who understands what my needs are when it comes to vehicles and he keeps standing by me as I change my mind 4537 times on what I want to do. I PROMISE I will buy a vehicle very soon!
- Thanks to my little Tersaseptic Face Wash for NOT melting off my face. (Look for a post on this after)
- Thanks to Dr. Lower for taking me on as a patient!!! I finally have a doctor everybody!!
- Thanks to Dr. Turner for taking my tonsils out at the end of this month! For once in my life, I'm not going to have a sore throat and be congested 80% of the time as well as the other disgusting aspects of my tonsils! As nervous as I am for this surgery, I'm also very excited!
- Thanks to the weather! The snow is finally melting in my little town and spring is in the air! Yesterday when arriving at work, I was fortunate enough to hear the beautiful sounds of the morning bird! Such a lovely way to start off the AM. :)
- As much as I complain about where I live, I am so grateful to the fact that we don't get natural disasters here. My thoughts are with those in Japan
- Thanks to those who are versatile in conversations. There's nothing I love more than being able to talk to someone about many different subjects and learning so many different things along the way!

Girls Night Out
So this weekend my friends and I decided to actually go out for once. I think the last time I went out dancing with my friends it was probably the beginning of December. I just don't like it all that much anymore. But anyway, here are some pictures from the night. Don't be fooled by the J.Beebz 3D glasses and flounder hat... I managed to stay sober that evening and had only a couple of drinks :) I'm just a silly girl, that's all!

A Reminder to Myself
Sometimes people will go through scenarios that are very difficult for them.
And Jessica, just because you aren't get the emotion you want from them, doesn't mean you did anything wrong. It just means for a little while, they might not be #1 on their mind, and I promise you, that is okay.
It just means, you have to be there for them THAT much more and you have to be strong for them.
You have to remember that just because they aren't very happy at the moment, doesn't mean they aren't happy with you, it just means they have a lot on their mind and can't focus on you 100%.
So, Jessica, I beg of you.. don't take everything so personally and don't be so insecure. You have no good reasonings to feel this way. You are loved. I swear, I really, really do.
Love,
Yourself!

Weekly Gratitude March 4th.
Oh, hey everyone!
So it's time to take a couple minutes to review everything I'm thankful for... and unfortunately I'm starting to notice a trend. I feel like the past few weeks have been so inredibly stressful for me so everytime on Friday's I have a hard time thinking about what made me happy and only a few things come to mind and it's always the same thing. SO therefore, this week, I'm only going to give thanks for the smaller said "insignificant" things that have made me smile this week...so here we go:
That's all for now! Xoxoxoxo. LOVE!

SO therefore, this week, I'm only going to give thanks for the smaller said "insignificant" things that have made me smile this week...so here we go:
- I love when I get a text from someone that I wasn't expecting to hear from. It's always such a nice feeling to just mindlessly pick up your phone and see a nice little text waiting for you! So thank you!
- Thanks to the gym this week. I still have one more day to go of the gym but in the bigger picture, you really have managed to transform my body and make me feel so much healthier. SO thank YOU gym!
- Thanks to my really cheap ring that I bought from Shoppers Drug Mart that makes my hands look so much prettier when I wear it. :) You are just so pretty!
- Thank you to Walter for always wanting to cuddle with me. I haven't been home much lately and he always gets so excited to see me when I finally do come home. Your cuddles always make a bad day a bit better.
- Thank you to Pez Dispensers. Pez: Your candy tastes cheap...but the way you pop out of fun animated characters...well, it's just plain fun!
- Thank you to my Audrey Hepburn calender(s). Looking at your beautiful and INSPIRATIONAL face everyday just reminds me to be a classier and more sophisticated woman, just like you once were!
- Thank you to my concealer and foundation for covering up my random breakouts. I don't know how I would feel without that makeup in my life (as pathetic as that is)
- Thank you to my office which is probably the most calmest and collected work environment I've ever worked in. It's nice to be able to do things independently without anyone breathing down your neck. :)
- Thank you to all of my new clothes that I splurged on (by accident, of course!). I do NOT however, thank my wallet for being so stubborn because it sure did empty fast!
- Thank you to my LACK of cramps this week. :) I'm so glad I don't have to deal with the feeling of a pumping uterus again. Just plain awful, I tell ya.
- Thank you to RED lipstick! I cancelled you out for a while, but this week you sure have made me feel real pretty!
- Thank you to Katy Perry's shattered nail polish. For a bit, you really do make me feel "vintage".
- And I'll say this every single week...thank you to friends, family and love. I sure do need you in my life.
That's all for now! Xoxoxoxo. LOVE!

Blogging
I kind of had a realization today as to why I love blogging so much.
Have you ever noticed that when avidly following a set list of blogs (and of course finding new ones to stalk!) you learn so much?
I've learnt so much about fashion, life, cooking/baking (I've made a few different recipes from blogs), love, travel and so much more...
I just love seeing how other people live there lives and getting different tips on the above topics.
It really is sort of amazing. How I don't know these people personally, but I love to learn about their lives. Weird! Ha!
As a side note, I found this website that does custom design for your blog but I can't really afford it right now. I'd absolutely love to have my blog re-designed to reflect my personality but it might have to wait until I have more money to put into it.
Right now, my savings are for my trip to Minneapolis to see the lovely Taylor Swift!
K, Bye :D
