Fashion: Striped Invention
This is the outfit I wore to work today. It looked cuter in person... I feel like the pictures make it look sort of sloppy. I swear it wasn't!

This is my version of a Taylor Swift mock!
I saw this in Suzy Shier and HAD to buy it!
Side note: Excuse my nutty little sister in the background!

Outfit Post: Elegant Work Wear
Skirt: Forever 21
Top: Bluenotes
To be honest, I had no idea what I was going to do with this little skirt I bought.
So naturally, I did some research and found that it would either look good with a nice button up or a tank top.
I wanted to wear it to work, so of course I did the button up. I think it turned out really classy and cute!

Outfit Post: Summer Outing
This is a dress I wore to John's sisters birthday party! I felt it was a little low cut so I put a little bandeau underneath it!

Clothing-Must Have's
Looking through my closet sometimes trying to figure out what to wear whether for work or for play is always so difficult. I am in desperate need of new clothes.
I think my problem is when I go shopping, I don't actually have a set list of what I need opposed to what I want.
I finally made up a list of new clothing items that are necessary for me right now.
I'm sure in the fall this will change.

Behold:

2. Heeled shoes that are comfortable
3. New work flats
4. Some nice dresses for work with high neck hems
5. A couple of summer dresses

7. Some loose fitted button ups maybe some in bright colours?
8. Horizontal Striped Shirts
9. Some loose fitted tanks (stylish)

11. Spaghetti Strap Tanks
12. Blazer (small blazer that I can wear over tank tops)
13. Cute Skirts
14. Skinny Dress Pants (not just in black)
I think it's a pretty good list.
What about you? What are your must have's for your closet?? I could really use the suggestions!!

Summer Wedding #2: The Dress!
I'm going to another wedding this Saturday and this is the dress I bought (from RW&CO).
It's quite pretty.
Classic, modern. Very Audrey.
What do you think?

Lifestyle Thursdays: Dresses to Wear to a Wedding
Ugh! How much do you love these dresses?
They are both from Le Chateau.
I'm trying to find a dress to wear to a wedding I have coming up.
Let's just say I'm having a lot of trouble.
I prefer the first dress but I don't know if i want to wear a dress that is so long like that.
Decisions, decisions.

Fashion Post: Summer with Tights
Hey everyone!
So this is my first fashion post.
Now, I'm not much of a "fashionista" but sometimes I can put together a cute little outfit.
It's almost summer time and you know what that means, right?
Summer dresses!
But if you work in an office building, it might be deemed appropriate to wear short articles of clothing.
So that's why I've been reppin' them with the tights! Take a look!
It's still Spring so when I'm outside, it always looks nice to wear a fashionable trench. I like to wear beige heels to but the ones I have kill my feet! The black shoes work too.
Here's me and my ridiculous posing skills. The look without the trench!
Sorry, I don't have the best quality camera!
Have a great weekend!
Trench: Suzy Shier
Tank: Winners
Skirt: Suzy Shier
Shoes: Aldo
Ring: Handmedown.

Fishnets, Movies, and Vacays.
I wore these tights to work today, not quite sure what to expect. I obsessed and obsessed wondering if they were "work appropriate" or not and then it got worse when a comment was made saying they were a bit scandalous.
What do you think?
Personally, I think they are fashionable and vintage as opposed to sexy... I probably won't wear them to work ever again though. I think I'll just stick to my solid black tights. Yes, I think that is a good decision.
P.S. Have you seen Morning Glory yet? It is SUCH a good movie with such a great soundtrack. Something about this movie just captivates my attention. I like how it's not so focused on the romance between Rachel McAdams' character and the sexy producer from a different show and more aimed at the friendship she builds with the bitter News Anchor.
Last but not least, I had a great time in Duluth with a few friends I hadn't seen in a while! I don't really want to post pictures as none of them are really flattering but it was a very fun trip nonetheless filled with spending an extreme amount of money and eating WAY too much food. I bought some cute new clothes though, for what it's worth and had a LOT of laughs.
