Pub Golf

Over the weekend, I went to John's friend's birthday and his other friend's going away party (it was a joint thing).
They had a "Pub Golf" night set up where you go to a ton of different bars (that are printed out on the rule list) and at each bar, you have to drink a specific drink in the least amount of sips possible.
So of course the boys were trying to drink everything in one drink.
I, of course, happily opted out of this game and just drank my drinks casually.
It was such a fun night, though! I've never done a pub crawl before and the whole night was an absolute blast!

Tamara's Surprise Party

Sorry I haven't posted about this sooner, it's just been crazy in my life right now.

So last weekend I was insanely busy preparing for Tamara's Surprise Birthday Party.

I really hate lying so it was hard to be constantly lying to her face and I kept having to make up excuses for the party she had planned for herself.

I even heard she was mad at me because I had pushed her dinner party until later because I had to "work" (total lie.. I just needed prep time and she scheduled her dinner party SO early so it would've been difficult to get everyone at my house earlier).

Anyway all of Friday, I spent cleaning my house.

All of Saturday I spent cooking and decorating.

When the party finally happened, Tamara said she had an idea because people were acting suspicious.

She was extremely happy and she even cried a little!!!

I was definitely happy to see my best friend so touched that everyone could be there to make her party a success...especially since she thought nobody cared.

Me Tamara and her Sister Amanda who helped me Plan.
I bet you feel bad now about being such a PRINCESS eh Tamara?

Just teasing!!!

The whole time at the party I was such a stress case though. I was constantly trying to make sure there was food and drinks on the table and that everyone was happy and content.

The party was a definite success.

Tamara and Paula popping the champagne!
No surprise though that I ended up in bed at 12:30. I'm getting old, maybe.

It's Friday, Friday, Gotta Get Down on Friday! (I mean Thursday)!

That's right, everyone!
It's the long weekend!

And this weekend is going to be spectacular!

Here's the agenda:

Tonight: It's my little cousin's birthday party! After that me and the Baby are going to watch the Canucks play. Now let me tell you, I never used to hold an interest in Hockey AT ALL but now I'm sort of starting to like it! My heart races in the last 10 minutes of the game if the score is close and what not. Is it possible, that I, Jessica Kutok am a hockey fan? You better believe it! So weird. My very life is changing before my eyes.

Friday: Hangin out all day... with no sense of a plan! Friday night going to see Water for Elephants with Tamara for her birthday ...Vanessa and Paula are coming along too! I love those girls!!!

Saturday: We're going to Montana's for Tam's Bday!! Im so excited. Going out for dinner is awesome. Unfortunately,  I work 12-7:30 though for street team. I feel bad because I couldn't say no and it's Tam's birthday. TAMARA DON'T BE MAD!!! Thank you for changing your reservation! It means a lot :)! So excited to spend Saturday night with you! The big 22!!!! You should feel very happy!

Sunday: Easter festivities!! Going for a brunch with my Mom and Sister for yummy chocolate fountains of fruit! And then going to John's families for some yummy delicious Easter Dinner!

Monday: Work. :( And then having turkey dinner with my family!

It's going to be a great weekend!

I'll be sure to post lots of pictures!

Have a great weekend! xoxo.

John's Birthday Present

So recently, it was my Johnnycakes birthday.

Now let me tell you, my John is impossible to shop for...

he doesn't tell you anything he wants!

So, I had to get creative...along with some small gifts, I also got him this:

Unfortunately, we wanted to bring the cake around to show our families and it ended up breaking. This was his expression afterwards (let's just say he was NOT in a good mood):

Look at poor R2D2 and his slit right in the middle :(.

Hope everyones days are great!!!!!!

Oh Em Gee My Sister is 13!

A day late, but a BIG happy birthday goes out to my little sister, Jill who turned 13 yesterday! Such a milestone in her life!

Here's hoping she stays on the good path and not be influenced by some of her not so well influenced friends (no offense, Jill).

You're such a smart girl and I know that being a teenager can be tough, but I'll always be here for you, no matter what. Even though it can be hard, it can also be a lot of fun! So don't be afraid to take risks but just be careful and smart with your decisions.

Love you xoxo.

Probably the most hilarious picture of all time ^^^

Because I Need To Start Posting More Pictures...

I noticed that my favorite bloggers will post many pictures so I'm going to start doing that to make my blog easier on the eyes...

So, these are some things I love shown in pictures!!! Yay!

Big Cities...I went to Chicago and it was one of the best experiences of my life!

Camp makes me happy. (notice the naturistic [is that a word?] background)

My family. :) This is a really old pic of my sisters' but it's the only one I had of them two together (hence I need to start taking more pics)
Musicals! I went to see Wicked in Chicago. It was great!
All 4 of my crazy dogs. The one you see in the pic below is Cujo. I also have Walter, Isabella and Nova. If we are going to start naming all animals, I also have a lizard which I've taken a new liking to. (It's only taken me 4 years)
Kingdom Hearts! I'm stuck on the new game though. Someone please help me!
My lovely friends. Look at how pretty they all are! There are some missing from that pic though.

Harry Potter! Is it sad that I'm going to cry myself to sleep the night of the final movie?

Fable. I like this pic of it because it reminds me why I like the game (I love the scenery!)

So these are only a few of my favorite things but the computer I am on is really "laggy" so it's hard to find decent pics. I promise I'll start taking more pictures though of myself and the funny shenanagins I get up to to make this blog more enjoyable for all of you out there.

Love, love, love!

P.S. I don't know about you, but I kind of like where this blog is headed, would you agree?

Black and White Blowout-Birthday Shenanagins!

I would be lying if I said I wasn't slightly nervous for the events of Saturday night aka my Birthday event.

It started off a little rocky--I felt like I was getting the flu earlier that morning and people were bailing on dinner and said they would just come to my house after. Although-I was pleased when dinner went very well and drinks and good food were shared among friends.

We finished up and made my way over to my house which quickly filled up with fun loving girls with drinks and gifts galore! I wasn't expecting people to give me gifts but they did which made me smile-I really was just happy to have all my girlfriends together under one roof. One present was a little bittersweet-but we don't speak of that here.

What got me a little emotional is when I was told to sit down at my dining room table and noticed a small truck outside that I didn't recognize. I continuously asked who that person was and no one would answer me. Tamara, Paula and Vanessa told to stay seated and gathered everyone together and then brought me something I didn't expect. A "Breakfast at Tiffany's" decorated cake! It was absolutely gorgeous. Aqua blue frosting with a chocolate film reel with pictures of Audrey Hepburn's Holly Golightly decorated subtly with sugared pearls. Oh it was beautiful, absolutely beautiful.

We proceeded to celebrate before the event and lots of laughs were had-it was fun.

On we went to the Black and White blow-out... a little nervous on what the evening would bring. As we got there the venue was filling up and more and more my friends arrived and more and more drinks were consumed (hey-sometimes this has to happen!) and my nerves quickly went away.

There was no drama whatsoever. I was so happy. I was so surprised--I didn't even care about the thing I was most nervous about. I was shocked to realize-nothing phased me. (I probably don't have to mention what this paragraph is about-so for the sake of happy posts, I'll leave it at that.)

The place started to die down and we decided to "hail down a taxi" and go to a small house party afterwards. I held a snake. That is all. :)

Then we went home and went to bed and it was a perfect birthday party. Perfect! 100%.

My Birthday List

Do you still get gifts at 21?
I’m not sure what to ask for this year for my Birthday.
For some reason, there is nothing I can think of that I really want.

-Box Sets-I suppose. The Hills, Desperate Housewives, 90210 Season 1.
That would be fun.
-Gift Certificates are always good too. Cards to the mall would be nice considering I need infinite work clothes. For some reason I have a feeling that “want” won’t ever change. Restaurants and Chapters would also be much appreciated. I love going out for dinner and I also enjoy reading.
-A new bed set for my bed at my Mom’s. Including new pillows. I don’t like the pillows there, they hurt my neck.
-Maybe the new Sims Expansion Packs and Stuff packs. But I probably won’t play with them often as I don’t often play video games anymore. **Note my Kingdom Hearts obsession from earlier on this month (I got stuck and now I’ve completely disowned it). I think I’d be very sad if I knew that I grew out of video games because I do honestly love them.
-A certain DVD edited together from my LAST birthday. :(
-Jewelry: Like a simple necklace or nice studs to wear to work.
-Get Him to the Greek.
-An XBOX 360. :)
-A Gift Card for a Massage or a Mani/Pedi. That would be nice.
-But all I really want is for my friends to come to my birthday party and to have a nice dinner with my family on both sides. I know that’s kinda cheesy but that’s what I want, that’s what would make me happy.

…Gifts would still be nice though. So much for not knowing what I want.
